“ Small and charming restaurant with good food and a friendly staff. I like the vibe. My friends and I were acting goofy and the staff dealt with us with grace, and we made sure to leave a good tip. The food here is solid, delicious, and reliable. I definitely recommend. ”

“ Went here and had dinner. The atmosphere was good. The service was nice. The waitress was attentive the atmosphere well I gave it for stars. Margaritas were good. For me, my food was kind of not really flavorful. The salsa they provided was spicy, but did not have that fresh taste that I was looking for. I did not try any of the Spanish flair that they offered so I can’t say a lot about it. The fajitas, though were hot and tasty sizzling as they were brought to the table. So if you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area, you might want to try this place for lunch as they have a busy New I’m sure you’ll be able to find something to your liking. The bathrooms were clean but small. It is conveniently located downtown Fort Lauderdale. ”
“ Jalisco Mexican & Spanish Restaurant has been serving Fort Lauderdale for many years. Today was our first ever visit. We have been thinking of going but never made it happen. Possibly because not being sure of the menu. We went very early in the evening a little before 5 pm. The restaurant and the people were very inviting. There were other tables of people. They offer a lunch special menu that serves until 3:30 pm. Our server greeted us and was fantastic throughout the dining experience. The menu is full of offerings from traditional Mexican to Spanish dishes and even American standard items. There was an extensive drink menu. The server brought us a basket of Tortilla chips and 2 salsas - spicier and other sweeter. We both had a cup of the chicken soup with rice. It was packed with shredded chicken and vegetables in a good chicken broth. For entrées I had the chicken Enchilada Suizas and the other entrée was chicken Sizzling Fajitas. All was very good and comforting. The restaurant and food was very reminiscent of a good hometown Mexican restaurant. Oh, the prices were very reasonable. If you have not been to Jalisco it is time to definitely give them a try. Looking forward to going back to try more items. ”
